504. Jonathan NEWMAN
Jonathon and Mary Newman had two known sons. Both are recorded
as being part of the First Independent Company of Dunsmore,
Colony of Virginia. Mary Newman, widow of Jonathon, is
mentioned in the Fairfax Grants dated 21 July 1749, having
received land for her support and after her death for her sons
John and Walter. This property was sold March 1779 and
acknowledged by Mary, John and wife Honour, Walter and Wife
Catherine. Honour Newman's maiden name is unknown.
