born c1686; died 1753. He married Elizabeth Morford, born ; died apparently before her husband, daughter of John Morford. Benjamin was probably a farmer and was constable in 1732 for New Windsor. In 1750, he was living in New Windsor, Middlesex Co., NJ. His will was proved on May 16, 1753 in Nottingham Twp., Burlington Co., NJ and it bequeathed, "son Thomas, 5 shillings and demand of 13 pounds; sons Benjamin, William and Richard, each 5 shillings; daughter Johannah, a bed, real and personal estate. Son, Daniel, to be put to a trade, and when 21, to have 1/3 of the estate. daughter Alse, when 18, and daughter Jomine, the rest".

Taken by Samuel Welles, Richard Smith, Sen., and William Wickham.Will dated 2 May, 1713: I, Joseph Hills of Glastonbury, do make this my last will and testament: I give unto Joseph Hills, my son, 100 rods in length of my upper lot which I bought of John Coleman. I give unto Benoni Hill part of that upper lot in Glastonbury. I give unto my daughter, Hannah Keeny, and to my daughter Susannah Kilbourn, to each 10 shillings money. I give unto my daughter Dorothy Hollister £ 6 money. With respect to the children I now have or hereafter may have by my present wife Elizabeth, my will is that they have, hold and enjoy that lot of land whereon I now dwell, with the buildings, fences and trees thereupon (which lot of land I made over to my sd. wife by way of jointure before my marriage with her, in that tenure that the remainder thereof should be to the children that I should happen to have by her). I give to my wife Elizabeth Hill the use and improvement of all my lands until the children come to age to receive them. I give unto my wife, whom I appoint sole executrix, the whole of my moveable estate in goods and chattells, etc. I give unto my son Henry Hill the remaining part of my upper lot joining to my son Joseph Hill.Witness: Thomas Welles, Thomas Kimberly.Joseph Hill Sen., ls.Court Record, Page 163 -- 7 December, 1713: Will proven. 716. Icahbod STRATTON Sr.
Ichabod Stratton was the only son of 'Mr. Richard Stratton of Chelmsford. he was born December 1, 1687. His mother died when he was a week old, which may account for his name, Ichabod, i.e. 'child of sorrow.' He learned the cooper's trade while a boy. He lived in Chelmsford, Littleton, Brookfield and Hardwich. In 1709 he married Elizabeth Hildreth of Charlestown. In 1731 he was chosen constable of Hardwich, and in 1739 Surveyor of Highways. He died in 1762."
